Dani Barretto slammed the accusations made by netizens regarding her mother Marjorie Barretto who wasn’t able to visit her while she was inside the hospital.
Dani Barretto clarified on Twitter the misunderstandings regarding her mother, not being present while she was inside the hospital. She wrote “I’m already 23, If I’m sick and my mom’s not around and it’s not alarming naman, I think I’m old enough to take myself to the ER when I’m not feeling well.”

She shared that despite not being present, she kept updating her mother about her condition via text messages.
She said “I didn’t want her to go all the way to St. Lukes fort from Quezon City during the rush hour for something that I can fix on my own.”
