Kapamilya star Cristine Reyes announced that her fiancé Ali Khatibi will now be a part of the entertainment industry.
In an article published by ABS-CBN News last Thursday (January 7, 2016), Cristine shared that Ali recently signed a contract with Viva Sports but also considers doing some acting stints. The actress also mentioned that Ali plans undergo acting workshops as well.

Cristine even shared Ali’s initial reaction upon hearing the offer.
“Tawa nga siya nang tawa, eh. Sabi niya, hindi niya alam ang ginagawa niya. Pero we’ll see,” claimed Cristine.
Though the actress is in full support of Ali’s new career, Cristine admitted that she was initially hesitant about the plan.
“Noong una, natakot ako. Baka mamaya, alam mo ‘yun, ang daming temptation diyan. Pero sa pagkakakilala ko naman kay Ali, ayaw kong sabihing kampante pero I trust him enough,” said Cristine.
Nonetheless, Cristine said she still feels fortunate for the new opportunity given to her fiancé.
“Sabi ko naman sa kanya, kung merong kumakatok sa pinto mo, hindi naman lahat ng tao kinakatatukan ng pinto. Bakit hindi mo buksan?”
