Coleen Garcia files complaint against marshals who assaulted her

On May 21, actress Coleen Garcia shared on her Facebook account, details about her encounter with an alleged ex-cop at BGC.

However, Coleen Garcia updated her previous post saying “I’ve already filed a report in the Makati police station, and I learned that the officers we were dealing with last night were actually MARSHALS.”

Coleen said that on the night of the incident she asked the marshals if they were really police officers saying “Diba po Pulis kayo?”. The marshals didn’t deny it, so Coleen was made to believe that they really are police officers.

She continued saying “They are still authority figures nonetheless and it’s still their job to resolve matters such as this. I’m still disappointed by the way the marshals handled (or failed to handle) the situation, but the POLICE officers at the station were very helpful with everything.”

Despite her frustration towards the marshals, she still said her thanks and gratitude to PCSUPT. Tomas C. Apolinario who assisted them through the process of her complaint.
