International Grammy Award Winning singer Chris Brown pleaded guilty last September 2, 2014 over his misdemeanor assault case and told court he was sorry for breaking the nose of a fan that tried to thrust himself into a picture.
Chris Brown admitted to punching Parker Adams, when he tried to put himself into other fans’ photo outside Washington’s W Hotel last October of 2013.
“I would like to say to the court I am sorry,” said Chris Brown, next to his attorneys.
The singer was sentenced in District of Columbia Superior Court.
He faces six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. But Judge Franklin Burgess Jr. said he would accept a plea bargain that called for a more lenient sentence.
“I feel he has suffered consequences for what he has done here,” Judge Burgess said.
After his plea, the singer walkout of the court with a blank face, going to his SUV with bodyguards, reporters and screaming lady fans surrounding him.
