Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” earned a whopping PhP 47 million on its first day of showing last Thursday (March 16, 2017). The live-action adaptation of the said classic fairytale is played by Emma Watson as ‘Belle’, Dan Stevens as ‘Beast’, Kevin Kline as ‘Maurice’, Emma Thompson as ‘Mrs. Potts’ and many more.
The movie already earned $170 million at the US box office and $350 million globally.
