ABS-CBN veteran broadcast journalist Anthony Taberna announced that he will be taking a leave of absence from his morning show “Umagang Kay Ganda” and his radio program “Punto Por Punto” citing “conflict of interest” due to the ongoing controversy surrounding the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC).
On his Instagram account, Ka Tunying as he is commonly called issued the following statement:

Just recently, his newly opened coffee shop along Visayas Avenue was riddled with bullet by still unidentified gunmen.
Anthony said he will be return to his shows after the issues have cleared up.
