Award-winning Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin explained and justified why she chose to vote for senatorial aspirant Tito Sotto through a touching Instagram post.
Through an upload a day before the highly awaited national elections (May 8, 2016), the 31-year-old Kapamilya actress shared the story behind her decision to vote for Tito Sotto—who happens to be the uncle of her former boyfriend, late Kapuso actor Miko Sotto.

According to the said Instagram post, it was the senatorial aspirant who referred Angel to a specific neuro-spine surgeon who can help her improver her spine condition. The Kapamiya actress even stated that if not for Tito’s recommendation, she would not be able to recover and use her legs again.
“I’m posting this because if it wasn’t for him, I won’t be able to use my legs again. Through Tito Maru, he contacted me the day after my interview about Darna. He advised me to not go through a traditional spine operation for it was very dangerous and referred me to Tita Helen’s neuro-spine surgeon. I was really touched by the gesture. He didnt have to. I know he’s very busy. After Miko, I seldom see him anymore. But he made an effort even without gain or without asking something in return. When I went to SG for my check up, the doctor said I was lucky for arriving there just on time before it’s too late. Or else, I will be surely having a crisis this year for I wont be able to use my legs because of my crazy nerves. So, I’m posting this because if he did not care, I don’t know what will happen to me in the future. He deserves this post and my vote.”
Aside from focusing on recovering and improving her health condition, the award-winning Kapamilya actress is also a judge in the Kapamilya reality talent show, ‘Pilipinas Got Talent Season 5.’
