Fans and celebrities expressed their sympathy and concern for the former child star Jiro Manio after learning his current situation. He was seen roaming around the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Pasay City for four days and people are providing him with food and clothing
Jiro gained popularity because of his award-winning performance in the film “Magnifico”. He was also part of the hit movies “ Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat” and “Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na ‘To!)” which he co-starred with the Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas.
Ai-Ai could not help but express her concern for her “anak-anakan” and vows to help Jiro. In her Instagram account, she shared the following photo captioned:

“Ang Tanging Ina Mo” where both Ai-Ai and Jiro starred is about a single mom, Ina (portrayed by Ai-Ai) who’s left to raise all of her 12 children (one is portrayed by Jiro) all by herself. In order to keep her family alive, Ina accepts all sorts of odd jobs. In fear that her children might reject her, Ina decided to keep her job a secret.
