Actor Robin Padilla gave tribute to the King of Philippine Movies – the late Fernando Poe Jr. Robin was awarded the Fernando Poe Jr. Memorial Award at the FAMAS. Robin shared the award with Coco Martin and Dingdong Dantes.
“Si FPJ ay isang tunay na bayani, hindi lamang sa pelikula kundi sa adhikaing maka-mahirap, isang rebolusyonaryo na katulad ni Andres Bonifacio na ipinaglaban ang karapatan ng mga maliliit at walang pinag-aralan.” said Robin.
