Rumors suggest that “It’s Showtime” mainstay Eric Tai or widely recognized as “Eruption” allegedly left his “It’s Showtime” family after putting up a no-show in the Kapamilya noontime musical variety program for quite some time now.
For the past weeks, fans and avid viewers of “It’s Showtime” were constantly wondering how come Eruption has been consistently absent in the said show.

Just recently, former co-host Coleen Garcia announced that she has decided to leave the show primarily because she wants to allot more time and focus on her acting career.
Prior to the controversial no-show of Eruption, he went out on a holiday trip with his wife in the United States. Also, before ending 2015, the “It’s Showtime” host thanked his supporters through an Instagram post that says,
“What a year 2015 has been. Really shows some of the strengths of this year. Just want to say thank you for all the love and support thus far. We definitely gonna turn it up a notch this 2016! •Strengthen the marriage#TaiTheKnot and #TempleMarriage•Bring back #BigBoyDance with XB-Gensan and co •Make more Madlang People people happy on #ItsShowtime •And now, continue to inspire and motivate others to live a fitter, better and healthier lifestyle!”
However, no official statement from Eruption, his manager, and “It’s Showtime” has been released yet concerning his absence from the show.
