ABS-CBN announced that the highly successful comedy gag show Banana Sundae (formerly Banana Split) will have a new timeslot beginning November 15, 2015 – Sunday afternoon.
The show will still have its original casts – Angelica Panganiban, John Prats, Zanjoe Marudo, Ryan Bang, Jason Gainza, Jobert Austria, Badji Mortiz, Pooh, JC de Vera, Aiko Climaco and Sunshine Garcia with the addition of Jessy Mendiola and Pokwang.
Both Angelica Panganiban and John Prats expressed their concern with the new timeslot since they have been doing the said show for six years on an evening slot, but added that they welcome the new challenge.
Since there was no exact timeslot provided, people are now speculating – will Banana Sundae be pitted against Sunday PinaSaya or Wowowin? Let us wait for the official announcement.
