Actor Paulo Avelino was supposed to be the date of actress KC Concepcion at the 8th Star Magic Ball held last September 6, 2014.
But when Paulo arrived alone, everyone was surprised not to see KC with him.
But, through her official Instagram account, KC explained and showed the reason on why she wasn’t able to attend the ball.
KC Concepcion posted two photos of herself with her grandmother, Elaine Cuneta, who was apparently confined at a hospital.
The first picture was captioned “Though I’m not at the fabulous Star Magic Ball tonight, being with my beautiful grandma at the hospi makes everything worthwhile!!! #familyaffair #GetWellSoon #MitaElaine”
As with the second picture the Kapamilya actress said “I was supposed to be at the Ball tonight in my RAJO gown. Mita got rushed to the ER & now confined at the hospi. As they say: #FamilyFirst. Aww!”
Even though she was not present during that magical night, the actress still thanked Star Magic for inviting her.
