Comedienne Catherine “Kaikai” Bautista had the opportunity to work with international actor and Thailand’s heartthrob Mario Maurer when he filmed the movie “Suddenly It’s Magic” here in the Philippines.
In the movie, actress Erich Gonzales is Mario’s leading lady, but as they are promoting the movie, Kaikai was suddenly linked to Mario because of their closeness.

Remember the time when Mario allegedly skipped a movie shoot just to meet Kakai when she went to Bangkok in 2013 and the sweet pictures of her and Mario Kakai posted on Instagram?
How about the photo of a conversation of how they miss each other?
In the latest episode of Your Face Sounds Familiar, Kakai performed the 1983 hit “Telefone (Long Distance Love Affair) and interpreted it as Sheena Easton. After her performance host Billy Crawford asked her whether that song is connected to her relationship with Mario.
Kakai answered, “Wala naman kasing love affair. Tapos na ‘yun, wala na ‘yun.”
Guest judge Boy Abunda then asked Kakai to clarify what really happened between Kakai and Mario and asked, “I want to get this straight right now. Nagkaroon ba talaga kayo ng relasyon?”
“Hindi ko po alam. Basta ang alam ko po, gustong gusto niya ako,” answered Kakai.
“Hindi ko po alam, basta ang alam ko lang, bawal na ako makipag-usap sa kanya. At kahit makarating pa ‘to sa Bangkok, alam nila ‘yun. Ganun talaga. Hindi na kami nag-uusap,” added the comedienne.
