ABS-CBN network is set to do a re-make of the hit series ‘ Pangako Sa ‘Yo’, dubbed as the first “television series” on Philippine television, it starred Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales and ran from the year 2000 to 2002.
The antagonist from the soap, Amor Powers, is one of the characters that made a big impact to its avid Televiewers.
Veteran actress Eula Valdez made justification to the role.
In an interview with Bandera, Eula was asked on whom she think is better to play the role of Amor Powers for the upcoming re-make, is it Angelica Panganiban or Jodi Sta. Maria?
“I thought she did not accepted the role?[Jodi] From what I know, it’s Angelica” answered Eula.
In the end she was still pressured to choose between Jodi and Angelica, the actress said “Jodi is a close friend of mine, but who knows what Angelica could do more”.
“And it depends on the material, if the material is good, your ability in acting will slowly come out” Eula added.
