In a report by GMA News Jam Sisante, Senator Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto reiterated that there is nothing wrong with the Arab costume he wore during the Halloween episode of Eat Bulaga.
“We have nothing to apologize for, many Arab friends are telling us that they liked it as in the past” said the senator.
Senator Sotto added that it was an Arab costume and not a Muslim outfit and it had nothing to do with religion. The senator also said that their is nothing wrong with wearing the costume for as long as it is worn with respect.
On his Instagram account, Senator Sotto also posted a remark by Robin Padilla about the said incident:
