The ‘Unkabogable’ star Vice Ganda admitted that he is overwhelmed by the box office success of his latest movie with Coco Martin “Beauty and the Bestie.”
In an article published by ABS-CBN News on Monday (January 18, 2016), Vice Ganda shared that he is extremely in high spirits because of his movie’s success. In addition, Vice pointed out that the whole cast including him weren’t expecting to break box office records.
“Hindi na namin naisip ‘yung record. Ang naisip namin, kailangan maganda itong pelikula, kasi kung puro record lang, puro sales lang ang iisipin mo, hindi ka makakapag-concentrate doon sa produksyon,” said Vice.

Nevertheless, Vice said he is delighted that “Beauty and the Bestie” now holds the record as the highest grossing Filipino film of all time.
“Sobrang saya lang. Ang saya na ako rin ‘yung nakaka-break ng record, nagse-set ng bagong record. Kung tutuusin nakakatakot.
Pero kung gumagawa ka kasi ng pelikula, hindi mo na maiisip ‘yan. Ang maiisip mo na lang ‘yung masiguro mo na ma-appreciate ng tao at ng mga makakapanood ‘yung produktong ginagawa ninyo,” he mentioned.
