During the eulogy at Direk Wenn Deramas wake, comedian Vice Ganda said he was given his hardest role by far by Direk Wenn – to choose the coffin for the fallen director.
Direk Wenn died Monday morning due to cardiac arrest. He was 49.
Vice narrated that he was given the task to choose Direk Wenn’s coffin which he did. He later found out that the coffin he chose costs P 1.3 million prompting the comedian to tell talent manager June Rufino in jest if it’s possible to just go with cremation.
“Ang worth niya ay hindi isang milyon, hindi isang bilyon. Mahigit sa kaya nating i-calculate at i-compute ang worth ni Wenn Deramas, kasi nag-iisa lang siya. Nag-iisa lang siya.” said Vice.
Vice also revealed that he was asked to give a ‘light’ message but the comedian said it’s difficult to do because he lost a vey dear friend.
