Veteran actress Lucita Soriano passed away last July 8, 2015. The sad news was shared by his son Garry Clint Adriano Garcia on Facebook with the following message:
“Thank You Lord for the life you have given my mom here on earth. She is now at peace and will be coming back home to You. Thank You Lord for your kindness!!”

Lucita died of cardiorespiratory arrest and renal failure on Wednesday night at the the Pacific Global Medical Center in Quezon City.
The veteran actress won the best supporting actress award at the Quezon City Film Festival for the 1972 movie “And God Smiled at Me,” co-starring Nora Aunor and Tirso Cruz III.
She was also part of the television series “Valiente” (1992 to 1997), “Familia Zaragoza” (1995) and “Pangako sa ‘Yo (2000 to 2002).
