During their opening spiels on “ASAP” (June 26, 2016), host Toni Gonzaga kept on teasing her co-host Luis Manzano about Jessy Mendiola. Toni and Luis was joined by Jolina Magdangal and Enrique Gil.
“Mayroong namang bagong tutututukan ang mga boys, dahil inaabangan ninyong lahat, lalong lalo na itong katabi ko, ang annual sexiest women in the world list sa isang sikat na men’s magazine.” said Toni. Toni was referring to Jessy topping the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2016 partial poll.
“Talaga nga namang hindi natin maide-deny sa mga bikini na ang sexy niya at ang liit ng baywang niya kaya naman siya po ang frontrunner, hindi sa politics, pero this year para sa final results ng botohan. And I’m sure may isang bumoto sa kanya. ‘Yung katabi ko, I’m sure bumoto iyan,” added Toni.
Luis simply said he did vote but in Batangas referring to the recently concluded election. Toni insisted that she is not talk about the election prompting Luis to say the following:

In previous interviews, Luis already said that when it comes to Jessy, he will simply keep silent:
Anything about her, tatahimik ako, kasi hahanapan lang ako ng butas. So, tatahimik na lang ako,” said Luis.
