Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano share more wedding details

It seems that all are set for the upcoming wedding of Multi-media Princess, Toni Gonzaga and boyfriend, Direk Paul Soriano. Details were revealed in an interview with the couple by ABS-CBN’s Star Patrol. They shared that they had already chosen a godfather, godmother, event planner, motif and caterer for their wedding.

Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada confirms that he’ll be the godfather in Toni and Paul’s wedding. “I gladly accepted it.”, says Mayor Estrada. In a comedy movie before, Mayor Estrada played the role of the father of The Bride (Toni). Now, he will be the godfather in Toni’s real-life wedding. It could be remembered that this movie features a story of a rivalry between the respective families of Toni and Sam’s character in the movie.

When asked about his advice to the couple, Mayor Estrada, wittingly replied, “May joke ako dyan eh, pero hindi pang TV.” He also added,”I’m the King of Ex (s). I’m the Ex-Movie Actor, Ex-President and Ex-convict… but I’ll never be your Ex-husband. Oh ‘di ba… Kilig to the bones”, then he laughed.

Manny Pacquiao was also chosen as godfather. Also included are ABS-CBN Bosses, Charo Santos Concio and Gabby Lopez.

Each detail of the wedding has its respective semiotics. The caterer chosen for the wedding was also the couple’s favourite. They also chose Rita Neri as their wedding planner. On the other hand, they have also chosen their Event Stylist, Mr. Hermosa.

Finally, Toni was asked about her dream wedding. She said, “I just wanted a traditional clean white wedding or touch of silver or gray.” Paul also admitted that she left all the decisions about the wedding to Toni. He wants her to be happy on the most significant part of their lives.
