‘The Super Parental Guardians’ broke several records on its opening day on November 30 as it reportedly earned P68 million, becoming the most successful debut of any Filipino film this year.
Vice Ganda and Coco Martin’s comedy film stole the crown from Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza’s heavily successful “My Bebe Love” which earned a reportedly P60.5 million on its first day and previously held the record for the highest opening day gross for all Filipino films.

Meanwhile, ‘The Super Parental Guardians’ massive success also exceedingly outperformed “A Second Chance” which earned a reported P43.3 million on its debut. The comedy film may also be on its way to be the highest grossing Filipino film of all time if it manages to earn more than “A Second Chance’s” P556 million.
