The Vice-Presidential debate organized by CNN Philippines drew a lot of praises among its viewers. People were surprise to see how well-organized the event was plus the fact that it was able to bring out the best and worst of the VP candidates.
All six vice presidential candidates — Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, Senator Chiz Escudero, Senator Gringo Honasan, Senator Bong Bong Marcos, Camarines Sur 3rd District Rep Leni Robredo, and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV presented their plans, programs and stand on relevant issues of our country today.
Pia Hontiveros and Pinkey Webb were also commended for the way they handled the debate.
After the debate, people gave their own impressions about the candidates. One that is very evident is Senator Chiz Escudero’s manner of speaking, and this did not escape the attention of TV host Teddy Boy Locsin Jr.
On his Twitter account, Teddy Boy tweeted his reaction:
“Imagine Chiz your president speaking like that day in and day out for 6 years. Mass suicide.”
