(UPDATE) With the joint efforts of the Sta. Rosa and Quezon Police together with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), the primary suspect Michael Flores, 29 years old was arrested in connection to the killing of Cherry Pie Picaches mother – Ms. Zenaida Sison.
Ferdinand Calunsag, the lawyer for the family of Cherry Pie, said they will “file the case the soonest possible time.”
Cherry Pie Picache Posted Photo of Mother’s murder suspect
Last Tuesday October 7, 2014, actress Cherry Pie Picache posted on her Instagram account the photo of the suspect for her mother’s murder.
Cherry Pie captioned the photo with “Please share this among your network and help us find the criminals behind the violent crime against our mother. We will be grateful for any information that will lead us to justice. Thank you”.
Because of that post by Cherry Pie, the photo went viral.
The photo was released by Quezon City police Thursday last week.
QCPD is now conducting follow-up operations to catch the suspect named as Michael Flores.
