“Mega Star” Sharon Cuneta revealed to fans and followers on Instagram, that she will not attend this year’s Star Magic Ball as she did not receive an invitation from them.
In a post on her Instagram account, she wrote “Must be thrilling for everyone invited to the Star Magic Ball as they prepare for it this year! (My invite probably got lost on its way to me? That’s okay. Too late to have a gown made now even if it arrives. :-)) Have fun everyone!”

In the comments fans of Sharon showed their support. Even singer Martin Nievera asked her to be his date to the ball, but the actress rejected his invite and repied “Would love to be your ‘date’ but no time to have a gown made na. It’s okay.”
A netizen then said “Just go. You’re The Megastar. no need for invite.” With Sharon replying, “Thanks so much. But I was raised to never crash a party.”
