On the February 8 2015 episode of ‘Gandang Gabi Vice’, actress Angelica Panganiban narrated how hard it is for her to say his relationship with John Lloyd Cruz to her best friend John Prats because John Lloyd and John Prats are former boyfriends of actress Shaina Magdayao.
During the said interview, Angelica jokingly said what might Shaina be feeling now that she has John Prats as her best friend and John Lloyd as her boyfriend.

The very day after the interview was shown; Shaina posted on her Instagram account a quote by Thema Davis stating “Those who tried to break you are expecting you to be in fight mode. Conquer them with your peace”.
With an image of the quote, Shaina captioned it with “ONE thing I DO BEST to people who “try” to put me down and “try” to break me even if Im not doing anything to them? I PUT YOU ….ON MY PRAYER LIST exactly what i did before, and what i still will continue to do 3 years after #takethehigherroad”.
Supposedly, Shaina heard about the details of the interview through her friends, love ones and supporter’s text messages, she then added to the caption and asked never to mention her name again.
