Being one of the few female legislative leaders, Senator Loren Legarda has always been admired by many for her exceptional leadership and service to the country.
But in her recent Instagram post, the fierce leader shared a throwback photo showing her charming side as she graced a print ad for a local skincare line back in 1977.

The senator shared how she considers being a Pond’s girl as her her break which opened opportunities for her.
She wrote:
“This print ad was released in 1977 when I first broke into the scene as a fresh-faced 17-year-old Pond’s girl. That’s how long I’ve been in front of the camera, in the public’s eye. I am grateful to @ponds for giving me the break that opened many doors for me. At 58, people ask about my skin care regimen and I tell them I still use this product until today.”
