Kai Honasan, daughter of Senator Gringo Honasan, auditioned for a spot in the second season of the reality singing competition ‘The Voice of the Philippines’.
The young singer turned 4 chairs after her performance.
And to show his support and to express his pride for her daughter, the Senator came to Kai’s side on the stage.
“We just prayed and hoped that the audience would appreciate my daughter’s message, whatever the results are” uttered Senator Honasan.
Kai, also a classical pianist and a ukulele player, said her goal was to turn just one chair, but instead she got the surprise of her life when all four coaches pressed their buttons.
In the end, Kai chose to be part of Coach Bamboo’s team.
