Saab Magalona celebrates 30th birthday with moms and babies in NICU

Saab who is a breastfeeding mom to her son Pancho also donated electric breast pumps to the mothers in the unit.

When I learned that the East Ave Medical Center’s NICU ward only had 1 breast pump for the mothers of 100+ babies, I immediately contacted my friend @jennasypr of @philipsaventph and they sent over some electric breast pumps to donate to the hospital! Breastmilk is sooo important, especially for premature babies, so expressing milk while the neonates are too small to actually latch will make sure milk production won’t stop! So happy!! Thank you so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️

A big thank you to our friends from @smbabiesfashion for donating boxes of newborn clothes, swaddles, booties, mittens, and cloth diapers! The East Ave Medical Center NICU ward has a capacity of 70-80 babies but right now they have about 110! Some babies (the healthier ones) have to share bassinets😞 They are also way understaffed with 1 nurse taking care of 10-15 babies. This is why we are grateful for your donations, big or small! ❤️ Thank you to the doctors (especially to Dra Quimbo and Dra Diploma) for taking the time to show us around. If you’d like to donate, you may contact East Ave Medical Center directly! They are in need of newborn diapers and tube tops for Kangaroo Mother Care 💕

Saab gave birth to her baby boy February this year. However, she lost Pancho’s twin sister whom she named Luna.
