‘The Funny One’ grand champion Ryan Rems Sarita and veteran comedian Bayani Agbayani will rock the comedy scene as they star in an upcoming sitcom.
In an interview with ABS-CBN news last August 12, 2015, Bayani shared details about the sitcom. He said that the upcoming show entitled “Funny Cafe” is inspired by the ’80s sitcom classic “Cafeteria Aroma”.

He also said that “Cafeteria Aroma” was based on a real-life Cafe Aroma, which was located at the corner of Recto and Avenida Rizal and served as a hangout for actors and other showbiz personalities during the vaudeville era.
Besides Ryan and Bayani, “Funny Café” will also star other finalists from “The Funny One”.
“Yun ang gagawin namin sa ‘Funny Cafe.’ Ako bale ang may-ari ng cafe at silang lahat ay pinag-aampon ko. Example, si Crazy Duo gusto mag-abroad napeke ng illegal recruiter, nagpunta sa akin inampon ko. Si Ryan Rems, nagbo-board sa akin pero ang trabaho niya ay English teacher online. Iba-iba ang trabaho nila sa cafe, tapos sa gabi ay pinagsho-show ko sila,” Bayani added.
