On Thursday’s (August 13, 2015) episode of Aquino and Abunda Tonight “Rakistang Komikero,” Ryan Rems Sarita shared the hurdles he went through before being hailed as It’s Showtime’s first-ever “Funny One” grand winner.
Show host Boy Abunda asked Ryan Rems what he thinks are the toughest situation he ever experienced. Ryan Rems shared he have been rejected as a writer several times.

He said, “Maraming beses akong na-reject as a writer.”
Ryan Rems also revealed that he once joined a singing competition on television but this endeavor did not prove to be successful.
He added, “Nag-try din akong maging singer dati sa banda. May mga sinalihan din akong contest for TV.”
When asked if he thinks ‘stand-up comedy’ is the career that was meant for him. He answered, “Sa ngayon. Pero kung may ipagawa silang kaya ko, gagawin ko rin.”
