Rosanna Roces defends Cathy Garcia-Molina against controversial open letter

Veteran actress Rosanna Roces defended director Cathy Garcia-Molina amidst the controversial open letter and complaint by a former talent.

Recently, Rossellyn Domingo and Alvin Campones, former “Forevermore” talents shared their complaint letter addressed to Direk Cathy and ABS-CBN executives regarding the alleged verbal abuse and unjust treatment they received while taping on the set of the said teleserye.

Through her personal Facebook account under her birth name Jennifer Cruz Adriano, the actress took the director’s side by revealing the realities of the production field.

On her first post regarding the issue dated last Saturday (January 2, 2016), Rosanna said that the showbiz industry is not meant for people who are sensitive and takes criticisms personally.

“Ang showbiz ay hindi para sa mga balat sibuyas. Kami man ay nakatikim din nang katakot-takot na panlalait at pagmumura bago kami talagang natuto at naging magaling.”

Moreover, the actress defended the director by saying, being shouted and cursed at by the director is part of the industry. She also mentioned that she personally experienced the said kind of treatment back in the days when she was still active in the show business.

“Naging emosyonal naman masyado ang babaeng nagrereklamo kay direk Cathy Molina! Simple lang yan… kung di mo naman pala kaya ang mundo ng pelikula… Eh di sana di mo pinasok! Namura ka lang kailangan pa bang hiyain ng todo ang taong mas pagod… mas puyat at di hamak na mas maraming iniisip kesa sa iyo!“
