Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte confirms he is running for president in 2016. This after the Senate Electoral Tribunal (SET) decided to junk the disqualification case against Senator Grace Poe.
Duterte strongly believe that the highest office of the land should be reserved for a true-blue Filipino.
“If she can prove she is Filipino then I will step down. I will be her (Grace Poe) campaign manager.” said Duterte
Duterte said he will seek the blessing of his Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) partymates most specially Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III.
