Despite being recognized as one of the country’s most promising action stars, “Game ng Bayan” main host Robin Padilla revealed that his teleserye days are over.
In an interview with push.com.ph, the “Bad Boy” of Philippine Cinema shared that he is no longer interested in starring in a teleserye because he feels like he is too old for the hectic working hours required in filming a television series.

“Hindi na, sa mga bata na lang ‘yan sa mga pwede pang magpuyat. Matanda na tayo, gusto ko na lang talaga kasama ko ‘yung mga tao, ‘yung enjoy. Hindi ko na kayang mag-drama. Sa iba na lang natin ibigay ‘yun.”
In addition, the veteran action star affirmed that he is happy and contented with the flow of his career. In fact, he said that being part of the “Game ng Bayan” family makes him feel younger than his actual age.
“Mas makulit yata kami doon sa mga tao kasi masaya talaga kami na parang fiesta eh. Nong pumunta kami sa isang barangay naging fiesta siya, ‘yung parang bumabalik kami sa pagkabata. Ako lalo kahit na 47 na ako pakiramdam ko 15 lang ako, oo totoo nga at ang dami ko ngang nagagawa don na hindi ko na nagagawa.”
