Richard Reynoso expressed his disappointment over the performance of Daniel Padilla during the Bb. Pilipinas 2017 coronation night. There were some who agreed with Richard’s point of view but there are also those who see it otherwise.
On his Facebook page, Richard took time to explain and clarify his side and indicated that it was never about Daniel Padilla as a person but more of this performance.

– “I seldom rant sa FB page ko but this has nothing to do with being a Filipino or kung superduper mahal ka ng masa o panlalait lang. Ang isyu ko lang naman dito, mga kapatid ay yung PERFORMANCE. Ang hirap pong lunukin o tanggapin na ang isang NAPAKAprestigious event na tulad ng Binibining Pilipinas ay basta kakantahan ng parang nasa videoke lang.
Noon, pag ginawa mo yun, humanda ka na sa backstage dahil tiyak na mumurahin ka ni Direk Fritz Ynfante. Kaya dapat paghandaan mong mabuti pati kung saang camera ka haharap at saan ka pupuwesto at that very particular line ng kanta. Days before the event nakarehearse na sa utak mo ang mga gagawin mo. HINDI KO PO IYON NAKITA KAGABI. At kahit na sino pang singer ang gumawa nun, ganito pa rin ang gagawin ko sa WALL ko.”
