After months of anticipation for her most awaited primetime comeback, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid is bound to mark her television return in GMA’s newest prime series called “Poor Señorita” this coming March 28, 2016.
On Wednesday (March 16, 2016), GMA organized a press conference as an official launch for the upcoming Kapuso romantic-comedy series “Poor Señorita” which will feature the Asia’s Songbird along with other remarkable GMA artists.

Contrary to stereotypical, dramatic teleseryes in the Philippine television scene, “Poor Señorita” will be offering a different and lighter take in life. The story will basically feature the life of Rita Villon (played by Regine Velasquez) who is an heiress and a successful owner of a perfume company. Growing up, Rita did not possess any interest in men and romantic commitments but deep inside, the obsessive-compulsive and perfectionist CEO actually longs for love and affection.
Due to an unfortunate twist of events, she loses all her possessions and in the process of recovering from her loss, she meets five wonderful street children namely Kyla, Charisse, Apol, Rambo, and Girlie (played by Ayra Mariano, Jillian Ward, Miggs Cuaderno, Zymic Jaranilla, and Caprice Cayetano) that will turn her world upside down.
