Singer songwriter Ogie Alcasid said his wife Regine Velasquez feels hurt by the negative reports alluded to her by netizens in reaction to a blind item story.
The blind item indicated that a lady diva replaces another lady diva (Diva2) because she felt Diva 2 is way out of her league. Netizens alluded to Regine as the lady diva who replaces Diva 2 in the light of their Ultimate concert topbilled by Regine Velasquez, Lani Misalucha, Gary Valenciano and Martin Nievera.

Upon hearing the story, Regine simply prayed to God rather than explaining her side of the story.
In an interview with Pep.ph, Ogie said the story is far from what his wife true identity. “My wife is the easiest person to work with. She will sing with anyone. She is not that kind of person.“ said Ogie.
