The Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez said that she is happy for her longtime friend and colleague Jaya on her transfer to ABS-CBN.
In an interview with Pep.ph during the launch of her cookbook ‘Bongga sa Kusina’ last July 17 at the Eastwood Mall Atrium, Regine said that Jaya told her about the transfer to the other network but it was delayed because Jaya was still with ‘Poor Señorita’.

“I’m happy that she’s there. You know, kumare ko ‘yon. Nakakatawa nga kasi she didn’t have to do it, na to let me know, but she did it anyways because she has so much respect for me. I told her lang, ‘I’m so happy for you. Blessing ‘yan, mare’,” Regine said.
Jaya made her comeback in ABS-CBN as a judge on ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’, the singing contest segment of the noontime variety show ‘It’s Showtime’.
