Known for his remarkable portrayal as ‘Professor Snape’ in the blockbuster film series “Harry Potter”, British-American actor Alan Rickman died in London last Thursday (January 14, 2016) at the age of sixty-nine after losing his battle with cancer.
Fans all over the world are mourning the death of Alan who’s one of the best-loved and warmly admired British actors over the past 30 years. In addition, several Hollywood stars are grieving for the passing of the veteran actor and promised to remember his legacy as one of the greatest icons in the movie scene.

Moreover, fellow cast and crew members were among the first to pay tribute to the actor. In a post by Daniel Radcliffe, he wrote that Alan was one of the greatest actors he will ever work with and one of the loyalest and most supportive people he has ever met in the film industry.
