American pop music legend Prince (Prince Rogers Nelson) has been found dead in his home in Minneapolis. He was 57. The singer was found unresponsive n an elevator at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
The singer was reportedly hospitalized after making an emergency landing last week after a bout with the flu.
Yvette Noel-Schure, publicist for Prince issued the following statement:

“It is with profound sadness that I am confiming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57. There are no further details as to the cause of death at this time.”
In an interview with CNN, TMZ Executive Producer Harvey Levin said Prince organized a party after the story of his hospitalization was released and during the party, Prince made the following statement: “Do not waste your prayers, wait for a couple of days.”
Details about the cause of death is still unknown.
