With everyone wondering what is the reason behind the Optimum Star Claudine Barretto’s usual hospitalization, her nephew Pocholo Barretto finally released a statement concerning his aunt’s medical condition.
According to a statement Pocholo released to ABS-CBN News, the Optimum Star has been dealing with issues regarding her blood ever since she was still a child.

“Her white blood cells are very high & her red blood cells are extremely low. Which is why she is vulnerable and prone to infection.”
Pocholo also explained that the Optimum Star’s health issue was the reason behind her recent operation on her lower left leg.
