Despite coming from different networks and representing different films, award-winning actors Piolo Pascual and Dennis Trillo were able to bag and share the “Best Actor” award at the recently concluded PMPC Star Awards for Movies 2016.
Last Sunday evening (March 6, 2016), the Philippine Movie Press Club held its annual awards night at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City hosted by Alex Gonzaga, Xian Lim, and Kim Chiu, to give the rightful recognition to all award worthy films released in 2015.

Dennis won the award after his exceptional performance in the biopic “Felix Manalo”—which also won the Movie of the Year award—while Piolo bagged the award for his award-winning acting in the independent film titled “Silong.”
On the other hand, Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo was awarded as this year’s Best Actress after her remarkable performance in “A Second Chance;” beating seven other nominees, including the Superstar Nora Aunor.
