A dog is a man’s bestfriend. Unfortunately for many dog lovers around the globe, there is one Festival in Southern China where over 10,000 dogs are killed every year – the Yulin Festival.
Many have expressed their protest on the said Festival because dogs are being snatched from their families, boiled and skinned alive, tortured and kept in small cages.
Many Filipino celebrities including Daniel Matsunaga, Lovi Poe, Derek Ramsay, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Lea Salonga, Heart Evangelista-Escudero, Gabby Eigenmann and Mark Bautista joined the protest online to stop Yulin Festival 2015.
The hashtag #StopYulin2015 is getting a lot of attention and is making a difference. The campaign against Yulin 2015 is being done by re-posting the picture under the hastag #stopyulin2015. Here are some posts of the countries’ local celebrities:
As what could be read from the posts of the abovementioned celebrities, they were also encouraging everyone to join the campaign against the Yulin Festival 2015.
