Nikka Martinez-Garcia, Patrick Garcia’s wife and mother of two, shared on her blog post how she felt insecure with Jennylyn Mercado throughout her relationship with the actor.
However, Nikka also revealed in the blog post how she overcame her insecurities and jealousy and replaced it with compassion and understanding for Jennylyn and her son Jazz.

In the blog post entitled ‘A Boy After My Heart’, Nikka wrote that she felt uneasy dealing with Patrick’s past. “When Pat and I were just dating; I was young and still a little immature. I was confident in mostly everything except his past. Knowing that he has a son whom he adores with someone he used to love, not to mention, a very good-looking person… brought about the feeling of INSECURITY in me,” Nikka said.
Nikka also mentioned that she would “start creating crazy scenarios in my head, over-analyze certain things,” among others. All these, she did without Patrick’s knowledge.
