Yes, they were in one arena, not for a boxing match though but Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. met at Miami for the Heat versus the Milwaukee Bucks basketball game last January 27, 2015.
The boxing legends we’re sitting across each other during the game.
It was reported by ESPN that during the half time break, the two had a chat.

“It was a private discussion. They had a private, friendly discussion, and that’s all I really want to say” Michael Koncz, Manny’s adviser said when asked by ESPN on whether the two would negotiate directly about the fight the whole world have been eagerly wanting to see.
Manny’s adviser also clarified that the presence of Manny and Floyd at the game was purely a coincidence, since Floyd is regular at Heat games and Manny was in Miami and was a judged for the Miss Universe pageant.
The Miami Heat’s Twitter page also posted pictures of Manny and Floyd welcoming them for that night.
Several negotiations have fallen apart over the years about a Pacquiao-Mayweather showdown, but like what the photo on Miami Heat’s Twitter page shows, will they be giving what boxing fans have been waiting for this time?
