Official statement of Vice Ganda on Cebu “No Show” issue

The Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda denied that he did not show up in a certain event organized by Liv Super Club in Cebu last July 18, 2015.

In a story aired on the late-night talk show “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Tuesday (July 22, 2015), Vice finally gave his official statement regarding the issue. According to him, he has no commitments with the said Club.

“Hindi ko talaga sya sinipot dahil wala naman akong commitment sa kanila,” he said.

He clarified that they just wanted him to visit the place but no negotiation happened between their respective managements. The Kapamilya star expressed his disappointment and admitted that he was also surprised that they had prepared a show entitled “Vice Ganda: Gandang Ganda sa Liv Super Club”.

“We wanted to visit, di namin alam na nagpagawa sila ng poster na ‘Vice Ganda live’ dumaan kami siguro mga 4, pagpasok namin nakita ko sa LED sa white screen nila na Welcome Vice Ganda pero di nila ko binigyan ng upuan,di nga kami binigyan ng table, sabi ko ang taray naman nitong club nito yung pangalan ko nakapaskil sa loob pero hindi kami binigyan ng table,” Vice explained.

However, Vice decided not to sue the club since Cebuanos have always been good to him.

“Actually gustong magreklamo ng management pero sabi ko wag na lang kasi mabait naman yung mga cebuano sa akin. Mahal na mahal ako ng cebu kaya hindi naman nun mababahiran kahit diba, kahit “chaka” yung insidente na yun,” added Vice.

On the other hand, Liv Super Club sends their apologies to Vice Ganda for the incident and admitted that indeed there was no commitment from Vice Ganda and his team that Vice will visit the said club.
