Actress Jessy Mendiola is again the target of attacks from netizens after she made a remark concerning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach. Jessy was being interviewed on stage during the FHM 100 Sexiest Woman victory party.
Jessy emerged as FHM sexiest woman for 2016 beating the likes of Jennylyn Mercado, Nadine Lustre, Arci Munoz, Rhian Ramos among others.
The program host asked Jessy how she managed to stay positive and keep sexy.
“I have a different type body from the usual sexy, so I am here to prove to everyone that I can be sexy too, and that’s where my strength is coming from.” said Jessy.
“Talo ko pa si Pia Wurtzbach di ba? Sobrang overhelming. Kung siya “confidently beautiful with a heart”, tayo “confidently sexy with a heart.” added Jessy.
Jessy might have uttered those words in jest but netizens did not welcome the name-dropping statement made by her. Pia came in at 16th place on the survey, 15 ranks lower than Jessy.
