Melai Cantiveros was declared the first grand winner of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” Sunday (June 7, 2015) at the Newport Performing Arts Theater at Resorts World Manila. Melai impersonated Miley Cyrus singing the hit song “Wrecking Ball.”
Melai garnered a score of 51.93% as the grand winner, Second place – Nyoy Volante – 24.51% , Third place – Jay R – 16.1% and Fourth place – Edgar Allan Guzman – 7.47%.

After the announcement, netizens took to social media their disagreement with the result mostly saying RnB singer JayR and Acoustic Icon Nyoy Volante is more deserving to win.
Fellow finalists JayR, EA and Nyoy came to Melai’s rescue saying Melai deserved the win and they are all happy for Melai.
The three finalists asked everyone to respect the result of the votes and added that the mere fact they reached the finals – they already consider themselves all winners.
