“On The Wing of Love” maincast Nadine Lustre came in support and defended her on-screen partner—and rumored real-life sweetheart—James Reid from rumors circulating about James’ “ungentlemanly” gestures.
During the press conference for the finale episode of their top-rating teleserye “On The Wings of Love” last Tuesday (February 17, 2016), Nadine explained the story behind the controversial photo of her and James strolling at the mall on Valentine’s Day.

In the said photo, James can be seen a few steps ahead of Nadine who appears to be preoccupied carrying a couple of shopping bags.
According to Philippines Star, Nadine said that in reality, she is not used to people helping her out prefers to do things by herself.
“Kasi po ‘yong mga gamit ko na gano’n, I really don’t mind kung ako ang magbitbit. Number one it’s not really heavy, number two kaya ko naman ‘yon,” she added. “Even sa shoot minsan wala akong PA (personal assistant), I carry my own stuff, I drive. So it’s really nothing to me.”
James and Nadine are bound to bid farewell to the avid supporters of Clark and Leah as they successfully end their top-rating series “On The Wings of Love” this February 26, 2016. However the Kapamilya teen love team are bound to be back on Philippines television by June 2016 through an upcoming teleserye.
