Weeks after the controversial video of James Reid hanging out with two unnamed girls, his on-screen love team and real life sweetheart Nadine Lustre defended the budding Kapamilya actor from rumors suggesting that James is a ‘playboy.’
In an interview with the King of Talk, Boy Abunday on his late night talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on Tuesday (April 19, 2016), Nadine defended her boyfriend from rumors and speculations concerning the viral video.

Nadine assured the veteran Kapamilya host that she personally knows everyone who were a part of the controversial video; including the two girls who were seated beside the young actor in the snippet.
“Di naman playboy (si James), Tito Boy, Kasi ‘yung mga, well regarding (on the) video, ‘yung nandoon naman po sa video (na girls), kilala ko naman po ‘yun.”
James and Nadine have been together for over two months now and have always been vocal about their relationship. As of the moment, the real life Kapamilya couple are preparing for the release of their summer “kilig” film called “This Time” which will premiere on May 4, 2016.
