International singer Charice who recently graced the cover of male fashion magazine ‘Mega Man’ answered most of the questions asked of her regarding her gender of choice.
In an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” Charice said that she is ‘confident’ about her gender choice and she is already aware of it since she was young.
“I am not offended if they call me a he or a she, alam ko sa sarili ko kung sino ako at ano ako” said Charice. “Bata pa ako, alam ko na sa sarili ko. Noong nagka-isip ako, alam ko na kung anong gusto kong suotin. Alam ko na po kung sino ako.” Charice added.
Charice also said that when she first came out and admitted her choice of gender, she had to choose the word ‘tomboy’ that is the easiest term to get her message across.
But how would she describe her true self? “My soul is a man” said Charice.
Charice is set to release a new album entitled “Catharsis.”
